Training & Supervision

The Center for Emotional Wellness is committed to the success of our clients.

Similarly, we are strongly committed to the growth and development of professionals.

Our training program offers an opportunity for intensive training in evidence-based treatment modalities within our practice and supervision/consultation to professionals outside of our group.

How it Works

Participation

Depending on the experience, our trainees may have the opportunity to work with children and adolescents, families and adults in the following areas: intake/assessment, group therapy, individual therapy, family therapy and nutritional counseling. Additional training experiences include individual and group supervision, professional consultation, participation in multidisciplinary clinical team meetings, didactic training, and research (if desired).

Development

Each trainee develops an individualized training plan in collaboration with their primary supervisor to ensure training experiences match training goals. At Center for Emotional Wellness, students and supervisees are considered valued members of our team and are encouraged to be as active as possible in the practice.
