Co-Founder Stephanie Konesky, LPCC-S successfully completed intensive training in Enhanced Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT-E) through the Centre for Research on Eating Disorders at Oxford (CREDO), an international leader in eating disorder research and care.  Co-Founder Kelly Bhatnagar, Ph.D., FAED is one of two clinicians currently listed in Ohio as receiving advanced training and certification in Maudsley Family Based Treatment (FBT) through the Institute for Child & Adolescent Eating Disorders. 

Ms. Konesky and Dr. Bhatnagar are active in the Academy for Eating Disorders, and Dr. Bhatnagar is currently serving a three year term on the Board of Directors.  In 2018, Dr. Bhatnagar was awarded Fellow status in the Academy for Eating Disorders for her “distinguished contribution to the field of eating disorders.”

Together, Ms. Konesky and Dr. Bhatnagar lead the eating disorder clinical team to ensure each client achieves their physical and emotional wellness goals.

The Center for Emotional Wellness is a proud partner of Project HEAL, a non-profit organization dedicated to building a network of eating disorder treatment specialists who are committed to equitable treatment access.  

As a part of the HEALers Circle, the clinicians at the Center for Emotional Wellness help break down barriers that interfere with accessing effective care. These barriers include: expenses, insurance coverage, racism, sexism, sizeism, ableism, ageism, heteronormativity, gender binaries, geographic location, and many more.
