Dr. AnnaMaria A. McLaughlin, Ph.D. is a clinical psychologist with over a decade of experience working in the field of psychology. She has worked in various capacities as researcher, instructor, supervisor, and clinician. In her clinical work she collaborates with clients to help them achieve their maximum potential. She treats adults struggling with anxiety and related issues. Dr. McLaughlin also treats youth experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavior problems.

She received her graduate training at Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) where she focused on cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) approaches for youth and adults. She then completed a clinical residency in Columbus, Ohio at Nationwide Children’s Hospital where she applied and furthered her skills in a behavioral health setting which also included more specific focus on developmental, sleep, and toileting issues in children. Her approach is grounded in empirically-supported interventions while tailoring treatment to address the individual needs of clients and their families.

Dr. McLaughlin works to build upon and extend current coping skills in order to help clients attain their goals for treatment. She has an adjunct faculty appointment at CWRU and enjoys supervising doctoral students in their CBT practicum as well as delivering annual guest lectures on parent-training.
